The Mouse King

Ewa is also an artist, and has been very busy designing new projects for needlepoint.  She does custom hand-painted canvas designs.  All you need to do is send her a photo and she will create a one-of-a-kind design for you.

Her latest new venture is the “Nutcracker” series of designs.  There will be twelve designs in total.  Here is a sneak preview of the first two designs of the series.  We think they would look wonderful edged with lace of course!

Lace Day 2013:  The Fourth Annual Lace Day at St. Peter’s is Saturday, June 1st.  Please bring any items for the silent auction or raffle table to the May meeting.

We will take a few minutes to review a few main details if needed.  We hope to be set up by noon on Saturday and have lunch prior to the public arriving at 1:00 pm.

The Sign up sheet will be available on site for 4 stations: We need one person to be ‘in charge’ of each of these areas.  There is a clock in the main hall.

1.  Greeters at the entrance to the hall: People sign in and make a small donation

2.  The raffle table

3.  The café food service area

4.  Ewa K. will cover the “mini learning station” to show newcomers the basic bobbin lace stitches and give people the opportunity to try lace making.  Someone could relieve her mid afternoon so she can have a short break.

Invite!!  The small invitations can be printed and handed out to invite friends or family to visit during the day!  The invitation can be emailed to any number of people who would enjoy spending time at our event.  Sending the page of four may encourage them to hand out the invite to others.  A reminder closer to the date works well!
