Made By You Workshop: Bobbin Lace

Ever want to try making bobbin lace?  Here's your perfect chance!

A couple of our members will lead a workshop at the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library's Made by You event on October 18th.

Participants will use a simple set up and work with bobbins to create a narrow piece of lace.

About the Instructors: Rise Thompson and Jocelyn Froese learned how to make bobbin lace by taking lessons beginning in 2004 with lace teacher, Ewa Kurnicka of Needlepoint Place. They both continued to learn to make different types of lace for a number of years. They enjoy sharing their knowledge with newcomers to the art of lace making!

For more information about Made by You (time, location, tickets, etc) visit the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library website or Event Facebook Page.

See you there!
