International Lace Day 2017
Greetings from the Northern Lights Lacemakers!
Join lacemakers around the world on June 25.
Lets get together and make lace!
Here are some ideas...
Find a public place and demonstrate lacemaking to interested people.
Get permission if needed, in order for you to stay longer.
Invite people to an Open House!
Find a shady spot outside in a public park or garden and make lace.
Indoors or outdoors, it's all good, depending on the weather.
Many will be curious to know what you are doing.
Bring along a sample of a finished project to show them.
Share your love of lace!

International Tatting Day April 1, 2017
Bring your current project, a beverage and your smile. Spend some time in our little shoppe celebrating International Tatting Day socializing and tatting in public. Tatters (people who tat) tend to be very friendly and happy to show off their craft. If you’ve never heard of tatting before, come see what the fuss is all about. There won’t be any formal lessons but certainly someone will be happy to show you their technique.
Where: Aunt Monica’s Attic. 111 Regent Avenue West, Winnipeg (Transcona)
Date: Saturday April 1, 2017
Time: Drop in anytime between 1pm and 6pm
This event is FREE! See you soon!
